Meals

There is no denying the importance of good nutrition to our health and wellbeing.

That’s why Meals on Wheels’ delicious and nutritious meals, delivered to your home by friendly volunteers and paid staff is an internationally recognised, evidence-based program, proven to reduce the risk of falls and malnutrition and helping you to live independently in your own home, for longer.

These meals are also prepared to the National Meal Guidelines, specifically designed to meet the daily nutritional needs of older Australians, reducing the risk of malnutrition faced by 1.2 million older Australians.

The Meals on Wheels Tasmania menu is available in most areas (excluding Smithton, St Marys, St Helens, Bicheno, Swansea or Spring Bay areas) and changes twice yearly.  The menu operates on a four week rotational menu for six months (Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter). When week 4 has finished, the menu will start again at week 1.  To find out what current week we are in, please contact the Meals on Wheels Tasmania State Office.

You can complete the online menu below or download the PDF version to complete.
